Adding layout elements is not enabled

Hi there,

I don’t know what’s going on but I’ve created a post type in Siteorigin Premium called “Portfolio”. Checked the box under Settings > Page Builder > Post Type: Portfolio

But when I add a new Portfolio item it says:

Hmmm… Adding layout elements is not enabled. Please check if Page Builder has been configured to allow adding elements. Read our documentation if you need help.

Am I missing something, could the reason be because my premium subscription has expired so features have been disabled?

WP Version 4.9.6

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Christopher,

You’re actually using an older version of SiteOrigin Premium. The latest version of SiteOrigin premium is actually 1.3.3 so we recommend updating SiteOrigin premium. If you’re seeing about not being authorized, please activate SiteOrigin Premium. You can also download the latest version from the SiteOrgin Order Dashboard: Page: Dashboard

    When using 1.2.0:
Navigate to WP AdminToolsPost Types and please enable the desired page builder functionality – such as Add Widget and Add Row. I would strongly recommend updating SiteOrigin Premium as there’s quite a major duplication bug in 1.2.0 that affects SiteOrigin Premium – this was quickly fixed.

    When using 1.3.3:
Please navigate to WP AdminToolsPost Types and please enable Editable Layout. By default, post types are set to use the base page builder layout defined in the layout and as you haven’t set one up yet – it can’t show anything.

By the way, as you’re a premium user, you’re entitled to priority email support. If you would like to make use of that, please follow the instructions found on your Page: Dashboard (please refer to the support tab). Please reference this thread and include your SiteOrigin order key in the email.

That’s the thing. The “add widget” and “add row” options aren’t showing under WP > Admin > Tools Post Types.

Upgrading to 1.2.1 worked, this is the last version I had access to because my premium account expired.
