If you receive the same error message then it’s possible that your server installation doesn’t quite agree with the way we’re contacting our servers from WordPress. In that case you’d need to manually upgrade. Not to worry, it’s pretty quick. In order to manually upgrade you’ll need your premium ZIP file. After upgrading you should have received an order confirmation email from SiteOrigin, the link to download the premium ZIP is in that email. You can also get that email re-sent to you using: https://siteorigin.com/orders/.

Once installed and activated go to Appearance > Premium Upgrade, select Already Paid and enter you order number.
