Hero Widget – buttons broke after upgrade

After upgrading Site Origin Widgets bundle plugin to the latest version 1.6.1, the buttons in my Hero Widget broke – the background color has disappeared (now is transparent) and the text color has changed and become smaller too I think.
Tried custom css but didn’t work.
Running WP 4.5.2 still (wanted to check the plugins first before upgrading WP)
Anything I can do?

    Hi Traveler,

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Traveler,

Preface: Our plugins are compatible with the latest version.

Presumably, that is in the header, right? If so the account you made for me (thank you by the way) doesn’t have the ability to access that section.

So it looks like the CSS for this widget isn’t outputting. Typically this is due to a plugin conflict issue or the files aren’t being saved due to a permission issue.

    File issue:
Preface: You may need to ask for help from your hosting provider to do this.

To check if the files are being saved you’ll need to connect to your website via FTP. Then navigate to the WordPress directory and then wp-content/uploads/siteorigin-widgets

If the directory doesn’t exist, create it. If it does and its empty try adjusting the permissions of the directory. If neither help, try proceeding to the next step.

    Plugin Conflict:
Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

Thank you Alex for you clear response.
I now upgraded (again) to the (now) latest version of SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, and the issue appears to be fixed.
