Hero widget back arrow not working properly?

I have a slider on my homepage – siteorigin HERO on my subdomain. (https://test.42studios.mk/)
When you click on the back arrow, it goes one image next and than goes back. Same goes for forward. If you keep clicking previous images and than forward, it goes one more in previous and than goes forward. Please check if you can, it is for a client. Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi MoDmkd,

This looks like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Hello Alex,
Thanks for reply, but none of the solutions are working. I tries deactivating all plugins except
Page Builder by SiteOrigin and SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle. I cleared the cache and tried in Incognito mode in Chrome and Microsoft Edge. I am using a Child theme from the Flash Theme which comes with SiteOrigin plugin. I tried changing to original Flash theme of Twenty-Fifteen and the problem is still there. I will try to install and set up theme from scratch on local host some day and see if it helps. If you have some other solution to try before that I could try it.
Thanks anyway, for free plugin. I have used it on many themes and has helped me a lot, this is the first time i encountered an error with it. I thought i could fix the problem instead of trying new plugins. I will still continue to use SiteOrigin.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi,

Are you able to replicate this issue on a different page with a slider with four different images? If so, would it be possible for you to send me an export for this widget? To do this please open up the linked page in the editor and click the Layout button in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.

I have inserted Hero image on a new test page and added 4 photos and it works fine. Maybe it is “glitchy” because I have too many images on it? Here is a link from the test (https://test.42studios.mk/test/). I will delete the page and start over and see if the problem continues. There was an error on Teknik website (Exception while uploading file: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 127.0.0.1:3310). I will try again later. Anyway thanks for the fast reply and great support.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi,

I don’t think the issue is how many images are present, I think there’s another widget on the page causing issues. Can you please try copying the hero widget to a different page to see if it works on that page?

No luck again. I only have text and one menu on the page. (http://prntscr.com/h1aqnv). On the test page it is only the Hero widget. Glad to find that SiteOrigin has copy paste, I was googling for it few months earlier. :D

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi,

To clarify, no luck are you stating it works without issue on the other page? I just tried the test page and it appears to be working without issue.

If it does work, this suggests this issue is caused by the other widgets. I would make a backup of the page (click the Layouts button in the toolbar and click Import/Export and export the page) and then remove each widget one by one until the issue goes away. Once it works, tell me the last widget removed.

No luck as it does not work on any page on that domain. It shows the same problem on test or any page. I will install and setup everything on local host and see if the problem continues.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi MoDmkd,

Unfortunately, both layouts worked for me without issue. To confirm, when you ran the plugin conflict test did you disable all non-SiteOrigin Plugins? By non-SiteOrgin, I mean any plugin that doesn’t have us as the author (certain widgets include SiteOirgin in the plugin name and they need to be disabled also). Also, did you clear your browser cache during this test?

I have disabled and deleted all except SiteOrigin and Widgets Bundle and deleted cache. I tried on different browsers. I installed local server and tried it with XAMPP and still had the problem so I googled for compatible sliders and installed Meta Slider. From today the website is live and on real domain. Thanks for support. The website is still on SiteOrigin and I will continue to use it.
