Hi guys,
I ran into a strange problem when using a row anchor (#) from a button link, let me explain what happens.
I have inserted a link to a row anchor in the header menu using the #. clicking the link takes me to the section/ anchor. This works perfectly, it even makes an animated movement.
However when I use the same link in a button elsewhere on the page, to the same anchor, the header overlaps the top part of the section. Also the movement is not animated (and this is fine but surprising to me).
Since I also want to make a table of contents on product pages, I hope to get this working.
Is there a way to solve this?
Thanks in advance,
Niek.
Hi Niek
Thanks for reaching out.
Glad you like the functionality. You can view the one-page demo at the below link https://demo.siteorigin.com/corp/one-page-demo/. We recently made smooth scroll interruptable. You can now interrupt a smooth scroll; assuming the second link clicked is a smooth scroll link the animation will function.
Corp provides a class for smooth scrolling and offsetting non-menu links.
If you add the above class to the button it’ll smooth scroll and offset.
