Hello,
I had to re-generate my Googlemap API, I had not done it since 3 years maybe.
After that I put the new API code into my WP theme and my SiteOrigin parameters, I have lost a function of the Googlemap widgets generated by SiteOrigin.
It looks like I can only put an icon and info on the central marker of the map, but every other markers have disappeared, even if I try to create a new widget. In the editing menu, nothing has changed, I can still enter info for additional markers, but then only the central one is displayed.

Hi, thanks for posting your question.
When the issue occurs on the site front-end, please, try opening the browser console. Here is how https://wordpress.org/support/article/using-your-browser-to-diagnose-javascript-errors/#step-3-diagnosis.
Are there any errors present in red text relating to Google Maps?
Hello,
yes, I have precisely one error for each non displayed icon. I have tried with 7, I had 7 error lines, with 6 I have 6…
Here is the picture, it is related to my API but I have just renewed it this week and everything else on the website works with the maps.
See the console report here :

Thanks. Please, login to the Google Console to confirm that the Geocoding API is enabled.

Hello,
It is getting better! but still a problem.
My Geocoding API was not enabled, I have done this like your picture and now I see again other multiple spots on my map, BUT their own icon is ignored, I can only display the main center icon, for the center and for the other spots, or no icon at all (= the Googlemap red default one is displayed for every spots in that case).
You can see how it looks on the problematic page, I have tried the two possibilities with two map widget:
https://www.thermalhungary.net/thermal-baths-in-the-surrounding-of-the-hungarian-country-camping-lodges/
This message pops up every time I just try to enter coordinates or address on the widget editor :

On the next picture I show exactly in the menu which icon he displays for every spots, and which are being ignored:

Hi,
The Google Maps notices you’re getting are a sign that the API key you’re using is missing a library or two. I recommend creating a new API key and following Page: Google Maps. Please note that if you haven’t added billing details to your Google account you’ll need to do that now – Google now requires this for all API keys.
Regarding the custom marker issue you’re facing, there’s a known issue associated with individual custom markers not working and only the main custom marker working. This will be resolved in the next update. In the meantime, you can download a patched version of SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle by clicking here.
Before proceeding, do a backup.
Open your website and navigate to PluginsInstalled Plugins. Find and deactivate SIteOrigin Widgets Bundle, then delete it. Scroll to the top of the page and click Add NewUpload Plugin. Upload so-widgets-bundle.1.17.11.1.zip and when prompted, activate SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle. Clear any minify and page cache plugins you’re using.
Kind regards,
Alex
Hello,
this page that you suggest for the instruction of the Google Maps widget does not work anymore, the link is wrong.
I will wait for the update, this is not urgent at all for the moment, I currently need multiple spots for only 1 page and it is a prototype for a partner who can wait a bit. It can stay like this a few weeks. Tourism is dead anyway today and for still a long moment.
Hi,
Sorry about that! I’ve corrected the link in my previous reply. For reference, it can be viewed Page: Google Maps
Kind regards,
Alex
