Good day,
I have a question. I am using siteorigin Vantage Theme. Google seems to have penalised my website lately. I fixed the one issue where I had a Youtube video embeded which was blocking Google from crawling the page. I removed the video and uploaded the video instead.
Google is however still showing me the following: https://imgur.com/a/Kb4CKuv
Text too small to read – looks fine to me on my mobile device
Clickable elements too close together – doesnt seem like an issue to me when I brows and looks okay using the Customise option.
Content wider than screen – It does not seem that way to me.
Now when I do a Google site: search my home page has vanished.. I am hoping it will be indexed again after I removed the Youtube embed. I was getting this error: https://imgur.com/VLrH5JQ – Googleads doubleclick.
Is there anything I can do to improve text size for mobile at least?
UPDATE – I have increased the size of the text. Awaiting validation from Google. I hope this works.
Now I need to fix – clickable elements too close together.
I also notice lots of other errors – script errors that are coming from wpfc minified – not sure what to do here – https://imgur.com/VLrH5JQ
Hi Deon
Thanks for reaching out.
Our SiteOrigin CSS plugin has a visual editor component. You could perhaps give it a try to add extra padding to the elements in question.
Page: SiteOrigin CSS Editor
Page: Getting Started – quick overview video to get going.
Unfortunately, WPFC related challenges are a bit beyond what we can assist with here. Our premium support scope is wider and can accommodate some non-SiteOrigin plugin/theme challenges.
