I have set up the SiteOrigin Google Maps Widget and sorted out API key from Google and the Referer URLs for restriction etc.
I get a map, centred where I specify, with markers I have defined and if I preview the map in the widget I see the route between these points displayed on the map.
When I leave the widget (saved) and press Preview in the Post page the map displays find but without the line showing the route.
I have made screenshots of the widget set-up, the preview within the widget, the Post set-up and the Post preview that I hope you can access from here:
These are the Google Map APIs I have enabled:
Maps Elevation API
Maps Embed API
Maps JavaScript API
Maps Static API
Street View Publish API
Street View Static API
Geocoding API
Geolocation API
Places API
Places API (New)
Time Zone API
Directions API
Distance Matrix API
Roads API
Let me know if there is anything else I can supply or you need access to anything.

Chris HUtchins
P.S. I see the link I tried to supply didn’t make it into the post. The URL is:

Hi Chris
Thanks for getting in touch. Would it be possible for you to send me a copy of your layout? This will allow me to run some tests. You can export a layout by opening the page in the editor and clicking the Layouts button in the Page Builder toolbar. Click Import/Export, and click Download Layout. Please upload the layout to your cloud hosting provider and reply with a link to the download.
Kind regards,
Alex
Hi Alex,
Thanks for responding.
I have downloaded the layout and you should be able to access it here:

Hi Curmudgeon,
Thanks. Using your layout, I’ve identified what’s going on, and I’ve submitted a fix to the rest of the team. This fix will be included in a future Widgets Bundle update.
Kind regards,
Alex
Thanks Alex,
Glad it wasn’t just me misunderstanding. I’ll look out for future updates.
Hi, thanks for your understanding and reply.
Cheers for now.
