Global Widget

8 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 8 years ago

I have a widget that appears on EVERY page on my site. I would like to just have to make changes to that in one place instead of having to make the change in every single page. Is is possible to make a widget global? Thank you

    Hi Jpw94,

Unfortunately, this isn’t currently possible. I would recommend installing the excellent amr shortcode any widget plugin to accomplish this. Once installed, please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceWidgets and set up the widget as desired. If you would like to use the page builder interface, I would recommend adding the widget through a layout builder. To clarify, a layout builder is page builder in widget form.

Once added, simply add the provided shortcode (it’s at the bottom of the widget) to wherever you would like it to appear.
