I have two questions.
1. Why is your siteOrigin Site actually not responsive? Sometimes Im browsing your support forum on my mobile phone and always wondering why it is not responsive – any plans on the roadmap to fix that ? :P
2. North Theme: When scrolling the theme, the logo scales down a litte. It takes a couple of seconds to “readjusts”/””sharpens” itself. Is that behavior normal? Is is maybe possible to fix respectively enhance this behavior?

1. Thank you for the feedback. I’m going to forward your suggestion onto the development team. Hopefully this can be added to the roadmap very soon. :P Jokes aside, I don’t think anyone who works at SiteOrigin browses the forums via mobile so I guess it’s not something we’ve really tested extensively. I’m going to forward your suggestion though so here’s hoping.
2. Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box. Could you also tell me what browser your using?

–> BUT – I think it is not necessary anymore. I never thought to use a different browser, because I really thought this behavior was normal. Changed my browser to firefox and the site is running so smooth now – I already was a fan before, but now your theme is even better :D :D :D so happy right now.
Please check your north theme running in the safari browser on a macbook pro (using the trackpad). When you scroll the page, the logo (polar bear) has some problem to scale to its smaller size. I mean its not resizing fast enough, takes a while to be shop again. It can not be compared to firefox. Due to the fact, that the polar bear is not as big as my logo, the effect is maybe not so easy to recognize. In my case with a bigger logo its very easy to see. If you can not reproduce the issue I will send you you a private msg to my site :)
Im not quiet sure if this issue has something to do with the header flicker after scrolling a litte further… I could make a video of the problem if you would like to see that. Really hoping you can fix this in the near future because safari is my main browser.

Really hoping you guys can fix the flickering header and the scaling issue :( Although I think it has maybe nothing to do with your theme. Am I the only one, who sees the problem?

Since I have a hero image right under the masthead (no margin there) scrolling the page even in firefox causes some “lag”.
Not as much as in safari, but to me it feels like the hero image is maybe too big?

thank you for your reply. I just wanted to share some more information on the issue with you. Maybe that helps to identify the issue.
– I just downloaded the “Safari technology preview app”. And with that comes Safari 9.1.2 which ironed out my logo issues. Images are now rendered directly and in time, just like in firefox for instance. To me it is now clear, that the issue with the logo is just a safari bug –> has nothing to do with your theme.
– my second observation has to to with the masthead sticky flickering: If you go to that page:
North target=”_blank”> You will see a top bar where you can simulate the appearance on different devices (like smartphone, tablets,..) When I scroll on that page the masthead header doesn’t flicker!
BUT If you go to that page without the top bar: https://demo.siteorigin.com/north/ it is flickering while scrolling.
I hope that can help to identify the issue. :-(
