Features Widget Fa Icons don’t display in Fire Fox

I’m using SiteOrigin Pagebuilder Widgets Bundle to add a Features widget to a page. The Font Awesome icons used in the widget previously displayed in Fire Fox and Chrome. After updating to WP 5.1 and updating the Flaton Pro theme, the icons no longer display in FF.

Font Awesome icons used in Circle Icons widgets display properly in FF and Chrome.

I’ve tried “Serving Fonts from CDN” fix by David Walsh – no change.

I’ve tried switching to theme to WP Twenty Nineteen – no change.

Site Origin Widgets Bundle: Version: 1.15.4
Page Builder by Site Origin: Version: 2.10.4
WordPress: Version 5.1.1
FlatOn Pro Theme: Version 1.8.2

Thanks for any help, Rob

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks Rob. Have you tried clearing your caching plugin?

    Hi Andrew,

That seems to have fixed it. Do you know why the cache would have affected the page display?

    Thanks, Rob

    Hi, I Work Here

Super, glad to hear that helped.

We upgraded Font Awesome from version 4 to 5 in January. It was a big update, the structure of the library changed. Your caching plugin was caching the Font Awesome files from before the upgrade.

Here is the release blog post: Post: Widgets Bundle Now Featuring Font Awesome 5. Lots of new icons to choose from now :)

    All the best.
