Editing posts grid widget on child theme

Can I edit the posts grid widget on my child theme?

Context:
I need to add content after 6 posts (so 3rd row) based on the design I’m doing.
Other plugins allow to edit the widget code on the child theme and it will work accordingly.
I’ve tried for siteorigin but no luck.

Can anyone help me?

    The Widgets Bundle can be customized. Please, find the Widgets Bundle developer documentation at the below URL:

    The Widgets Bundle doesn’t currently contain a Posts Grid Widget that I’m aware of. Do you perhaps have other plugins adding widgets like Livemesh SiteOrigin Widgets?
