Hi,
first I would like to thank you on awesome support an response time.
The question: Is it possible to make Recommended Widgets (or custom widget group) active by default (instead of All Widgets) when user wants to add new widget.
Thanks
Hi Dušan,
You can do this by filtering siteorigin_panels_widgets and moving the recommended group to the top of the array. If you need help with doing this, I recommend hiring someone from Codeable to lend a hand.
Kind regards,
Alex
Hi Alex.
Thanks for the solution.
However, since I’ve decided to edit plugin files directly (keeping evidence of changed files), I’ve edited js/siteorigin_panels.min.js and change default trigger from the first tab to the last (where my Recommended plugins are).
Hi Dušan,
We recommend against doing that as that will make updates tricker for you. The filter I suggested in my reply will allow you to do this without needing to re-do it everytime there’s an update so it’s much safer/quicker.
Kind regards,
Alex
You’re right – thanks!
Hi Dušan,
Please post a new thread if anything else comes up. Have a good one mate. :)
Kind regards,
Alex
