Custom Styling for Fonts and Background Images

Hi,

Thanks for the awesome theme! I’m using the Unwind theme and I’m trying to fine-tune my site so please help me with the following:

1. How do I change the color of the text to white for Headings? I know the Paragraph colors can be changed via Widget Styles > Design but for Headings it seems to default to the Theme Colors.

2. Remove the gap (looks to be about 5px) or the line below the Header area

3. How do I make a background image also cover the header and footer area?

All of the above can be viewed here: https://aceidigital.com/digital-portfolio/

Thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi, thanks for reaching out.

    1. CustomizeTheme SettingsFontsDark text color will set the headings color theme wide: Page: Fonts.

The Editor widget doesn’t have font color settings. You could try using something like the Headline widget which does have font color settings. You could also try the Visual Editor in our SiteOrigin CSS plugin to edit the color of the particular h1 tag you’d like to change.

    2. Edit the page in question, locate Page Settings in the right column and ensure Header Bottom Margin is disabled.

    3. Unfortunately, it isn’t currently possible to do this without custom development. You could perhaps set transparency for the header and footer or you could set a background for those elements.

#2 solved the padding issue – thank you! For #1 I was trying to update the heading color just for one page. I tried using the headline widget but it won’t allow me to do line breaks or bold certain words unfortunately. I didn’t see a SO CSS Editor when I tried to Add Widget?
