css commands are completely ignored

Hi
it looks to me like CSS commands in the attributes section of the widgets are totally ignored. If I create a css-class and make the changes in the custom css everything works. Same thing with some widgets. No matter which settimng for a background pic I use: it’s always set on “repeat”.

Pls check this -I do not want to switch to this disgusting Elementor.
Ciao

    Hi Hans

    Thanks for reaching out.

Please, send a link to a page concerned and let us know which row to check. We’ll take a look and advise from there.

    Hi

I’d like to send you some pics which make it very clear.
    How to do so?

    Hi Hans

We ideally need to inspect the page source to see which CSS is being applied to the markup in question and which rules are taking precedence.

Screenshots can be uploaded to any cloud source like imgur.com or Dropbox and a link posted here.

    Hi Hans

Unfortunately, not within our free support scope.

If you’d like to send screenshots, I’ll do my best to advise. A link would be ideal though.

    Hi

thanks for your message – I’ve put some pics here:
    https://www.dropbox.com/sh/hao4uvxgf8ydxef/AAAteNFkOWddjX-NX6b85YEca?dl=0

    1. padding-top-2 = command

    2. padding-top-2-no-result shows that nothing has happened

3.padding-top-3 shows the new css class

    4. padding-top-5 shows the wanted result.

Hope it’s clear – and maybe it just was a mistake of me.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Hans

    Thanks for the screenshots.

The next step is to inspect the widget markup when using the 64px padding in Widget Styles to see what’s happening.

Here is an example layout: https://demo.siteorigin.com/corp/sandbox/?ao_noptimize=1. I’ve applied 32px top padding in the Widget Styles Layout section of the Editor Widget on the right.

Here are screenshots of the padding and the result in the browser inspector. https://imgur.com/a/JR3xaWl.

Please, try inspecting the widget container when 64px of top padding is applied to see what’s happening.
