Corp theme Stripe and mobile menu issue

By enf, 5 years ago. Last reply by Andrew Misplon, 5 years ago.

hello

with the theme Corp on one of my websites I ve got the issue with Stripe Card payment for woocommerce – the Stripe Card form fields are not editable (you cant fill in card number and other details).

And I have strange issue with mobile menu (that doesnt appear on the other web where I ve used Corp theme) – the menu is appearing on mobile but is not clickable.

Any suggestions?

thank you!

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks, I’ll take a look at the Stripe issue soon.

The menu issue is a general JavaScript issue. There is a WooCommerce JS error, that error then breaks other JavaScript functions on the page, like the mobile menu. If you open your browser console, you’ll see the issue.

    https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors#Step_3:_Diagnosis

Here is the issue being discussed: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/45956946/woocommerce-cookies-is-not-defined

I don’t immediately see the issue. As mentioned above, some users found a MailChimp signup form or some other element introducing a second copy of jQuery was the issue. I don’t see this on your page. Try a plugin conflict test, does the JavaScript console error persist if you deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and SiteOrigin plugins? The purpose of testing like this is to try and establish a working baseline.

    thank you!

I have tried plugin conflict – when i deactivate Woocommerce plugin the mobile menu appears..
So it means the Corp is not 100% compatible with Woocommerce?…

    Hi, I Work Here

    Thanks for the feedback.

Corp has a lot of effort put into the WooCommerce functionality, it’s compatible. Have you had a chance to take a look at the console error I mentioned? Here is how:
    https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors#Step_3:_Diagnosis

WooCommerce has a JavaScript error which in turn breaks other JavaScript, like the mobile menu. Here is how you can test further:

    1. Open your console, view the JS error. You need to be able to see it for testing purposes.
    2. Deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce. If you are caching in any way, make sure to clear those cache/s before deactivating.
    3. Check for the console error, is it still there?

The working baseline you’re after isn’t getting the mobile menu working. The working baseline would be with WooCommerce activated but with no JS error. That’s the baseline you’re looking for.

    Hi, I Work Here

This is possibly the issue here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/jquery-cookie-fails-to-load/. Please, see the steps recommended by WooCommerce to resolve. Thanks.

whats about the Stripe fields problem on checkout page?

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks, I’ve taken a look at checkout. I don’t immediately see a CSS solution, the form element doesn’t appear to be in place. I recommend resolving the jQuery Cookies error, there is a good chance the Stripe error will be fixed once the cookies issue is fixed. Stripe is looking normal on our side during testing with Corp which is why I’m recommending this course of action.

thank you Andrew, have managed to solve it with plugin woocommerce-js-cookie-fix

Can you please tell if it’s possible to make the “add to cart” open in the same window?
now it’s opening in new window

    Hi, I Work Here

Glad to hear you’ve made progress.

The answer lies in how you’re creating your pricing table. Is that a shortcode from a plugin? If so, the _blank which opens the link in a new window is added by that plugin, you’d need to look at that plugin’s settings.
