Contant Form checkboxes field not working

Hi, there

My problem: If the checkboxes field is required, it will not work.
When a checkboxes field is added and set to required, the form won’t send regardless of whether the data is correct or not.

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

Kind regards,
irokob

    Hi Irokob

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

    Hi Irokob,

Would it be possible for you to send me an export of the linked page? To do this please open up the linked page in the editor and click the Layout button in the Page Builder toolbar. Then click import/export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Irokob,

Preface: Do a backup before proceeding.

Thanks. The provided layout works without issue for me. Hm. Can you please try reinstalling SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle? You can do this by navigating to WP AdminPluginsInstalled Plugins and deactivate SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, then delete SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle. Click Add New and search for and install/activate SiteOrgin Widgets Bundle. Please try submitting the form again, does it work without issue now?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Irokob,

Thanks. Hm. There’s no reason the provided layout should work for me and not for you. We’re both using the same versions after all. Actually, there is a plugin difference so this could be a plugin conflict.

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

I disconnected all non-SiteOrigin plugins, did not solve the problem!

    Please help!

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Irokob,

You need to disable all non-SiteOrigin plugins. This means that the only plugins that are activated, are our plugins. This will rule out any outside interference to ensure there’s no plugin conflict. Disabling our plugins doesn’t rule out a plugin conflict because nothing can conflict with our plugins if they’re not activated. Does that make sense?

    Hi,

Today I updated the SiteOrigin Page Builder plugin – and the Contant Form started working! I do not understand what happened, but my problem was solved. Thanks for the help!
