Hi, I’m using Site Origin Widget “”Contact Form”” in my WordPress Site (updated to WP 5.9), but since a few months, it doesn’t work. If someone is trying to use the contact form, there will come this error : error sending email, please try again later.
Our email-adress als delivering mail in the setting field is correct and as default subject there is set the email wordpress@…(ourdomain). Is there anyone who may give me an answer what is wrong? Thanks a lot.

    Hi, thanks for reaching out.

Please, try checking for a working baseline. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except for the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and SiteOrigin Page Builder if you use Page Builder. In that state, does the issue persist?

    Hi Andrew,
thanks for your reply and Sorry for my late reply. I have now disabled everything except the SiteOrigin PageBuilder and the Widget Bundle. Unfortunately, I still get the same error message.
The PageBuilder is updated to version 2.16.2.
Do you have an other idea? May I try anything else?

    Thanks for the update.

    If possible:

    – Please send a link to a page containing a SiteOrigin Contact Form.

    – Please try repeating the previous test with a default theme like Twenty Nineteen activated. Temporarily deactivate all plugins except for those authored by SiteOrigin and temporarily switch to a default theme. Does the issue persist in that state?

    Hi Andrew,
thanks for your reply, but it stil doesn’t work.
I tried the default theme “Twenty Seventeen” and the error is still the same.

Here is the Link to the affected website within the Site Origin contact form:

    Thanks for the update.

    – If you initiate a password reset, does the email reach you? https://schreinerei-adams.de/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

    – Please, try installing https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-mail-logging/ and recreate the issue. Do any related log items appear?

    Hi, thanks for the updates.

If you aren’t able to reset your password from the password reset page (https://schreinerei-adams.de/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword) it suggests that your server isn’t sending email. One option is to try and contact your hosts. I recommend making the support query quite simple. You could let them know that the WordPress password reset form doesn’t seem to send emails, please, could they take a look.
