Compatibility issues with Rank Math

Hi,

I’ve been talking with the people over at Rank Math and they said their plugin isn’t working because there was “added some compatibility code that’s stripping most of the contents that should parsed and analyzed for SEO insights.”

What should I do to fix this? Thanks!

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi, thanks for posting your question.

The Page Builder – Rank Math integration is working normally on our end in both the Classic and Block Editors. If possible, please take a screenshot showing how the issue is presenting in your WordPress admin, upload it to any online location like WeTransfer and post the link here on the forum. We’ll take a look and go from there.

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. Here’s the WeTransfer link that shows the issue with Rank Math : https://we.tl/t-moobXI9QAi

As you can see, Rank Math is showing that I only have 60 words in the article and other issues, while the post says it’s actually 1,700 words. The people over at Rank Math got onto my WordPress site and said that it was an issue with the Page Builder.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks, Jay. Is this a post without any SiteOrigin blocks in use?

SiteOrigin is being used in that example.

    Hi, I Work Here

Is there is a SiteOrigin Layout or Widget Block in use not visible in the screenshots?

  7. 1 year, 1 month ago Jay

It’s a SiteOrigin Layout. That’s mainly what I use on a lot of my blogs.

    Hi, I Work Here

Thanks. Could you perhaps send us a copy of the page? At the top right, click the three vertical dots, switch to code view, copy the contents into a text document and upload the document to any online location. You can remove the document once we’ve received it. We’ll then run a few tests with the same copy.

Okay, here’s the link on Google Docs: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bu6miQi8e-s7JI0FaJ1djOrJzduTcXczYf01y8M9uwk/edit?usp=sharing

Let me know if I did this incorrectly. Thanks again for the help!

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi Jay, please can you try testing with all SiteOrigin plugins deactivated. I’m running into a word count issue using a default theme, RankMath and all other plugins deactivated. Please, see https://siteorigin.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/08/test.png

  13. 1 year, 1 month ago Jay

Hi, I deactivated the Pagebuilder by SiteOrigin and RankMath started to work properly again. It seems that is the plugin causing the issues.

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi Jay, thanks for trying. Can you perhaps upload an updated screenshot for us with Page Builder deactivated? I’ll add that to the issue report internally.
