Choose standard page layout in Vantage Premium Theme Settings

The standard page layout i Vantage Premium is 2 column with widgets on the right.

Most of the sites I build, do not make use of widgets in the content area, so it would be a nice feature, if it was possible to set the standard page layout to say: Full width, in the Vantage Premium Theme Settings.

Any thoughts on this?

    Hi Hans

    For sure. Page templates are a bit outdated now. Ideally we’d use a meta box in the right column to select the page template and ideally you’d be able to set the default in Theme Settings or the Customizer. We’ve chatted about this. Will definitely look at it for future themes. There might be legacy issues working this into Vantage now but I’ll still chat to the guys about it.

    Appreciate the insightful feedback here.

    The solution you suggest would be nice.

    Hopefully it will be a part of Vantage in future releases.
