Hi there,

I’ve read all the available threads on changing the colour of Vantage’s masthead using the following CSS text:

/* Vantage Site Title Color */
header#masthead .hgroup h1 {
color: #dlecff !important;
}

However, I’ve tried inserting this into Simple Custom CSS and it has made no difference to my site. Am I missing something?

Thanks,
Andrew

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Andrew,

    So, to clarify, the CSS provided doesn’t actually match up with what you’re trying to do. That CSS will change the Site Title Color. You also don’t need CSS to do either – both can be adjusted via the customizer.

    To change the masthead background color, please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme DesignPage and set the Masthead Background color.

    Hi Alex,

    Many thanks for the response, I thought I was losing it for a while there. Your advice totally helped me to figure out what I was after.

    Cheers,
    Andrew
