Change Vantage header colour

Hi there, I’ve read all the available threads on changing the colour of Vantage’s masthead using the following CSS text: /* Vantage Site Title Color */ header#masthead .hgroup h1 { color: #dlecff !important; } However, I’ve tried inserting this into Simple Custom CSS and it has made no difference to my site.
