I’m cloning a pre-made page as a template and I am editing the Hero widget. Under Hero Frames section (1st section where you Add new frames, see screenshot below), the template has the name ‘help-hero’. iirc, this says ‘Frame’ as a default, so it can clearly be changed.
How can I change it?
PS. Not sure if Hero widget is Widget Bundle or Premium. Feel free to adjust.
Hi Timothy
Thanks for reaching out.
The frame label, unfortunately, can’t be manually set like row and widget labels. Below is the label priority order:
Item label priority order for the Hero and Layout Slider Widgets:
* Background Image
* Background Video
* Background Video URL
Is your Hero frame perhaps using the label of the background image title field value?
The Hero Widget is part of the Widgets Bundle. SiteOrigin offers a Hero Addon that enhances the Hero.
Ahh, that makes sense. The background image is, in fact, called ‘help-hero’. Thank you! It would be wonderful to be able to name the frame rather than apply the name of a facet within the frame (in case y’all don’t already have enough to do ;) ) . I always appreciate the help, Andrew!
Thanks for your reply and feedback.
If you edit the image in question in the Media Library and set the Title, it’ll reflect as the Frame label: https://imgur.com/a/njED6QV.
