Change of product image size doesnt work

By galanabytok, 21 days ago. Last reply by Alex S, 10 days ago.

Hi,
Im using Vantage theme and woocommerce, last versions. I tried to change image size of products in woocommerce settings and regenerate thumbnails but I still get same size. I need bigger image sizes and product categories. I also edit functions.php file, deactivate and activate theme but no change, still same image size. Do you know what else should I try to check/edit?
Thanks

    Hi Galanabytok,

You’ll need to use CSS to do this. I’d like to help you with this, but nfortunately, this is beyond the scope of the support we’re able to offer on our free forums. There is a fair amount of custom work involved.

We do offer this level of support to our premium users, so if you’d like to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then I can help you over email support.

If you’d prefer not to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then you can hire a WordPress developer from Codeable. They’ll charge you an hourly rate for any work done.

    HI,

    thanks for reply and info.

Just for your info: Im not sure if this issue belongs to Vantage theme, because I still get same output with different themes and also when all plugins are deactivated. Its little bit strange because same settings work properly on my test side, same versions, themes, plugins…

    Thanks again for info.

    Hi Galanabytok,

It’s not specifically a theme issue. TO clarify, the settings you’re adjusting purely control the dimensions of the image itself, not how it displays on the page. Typically, themes use a dynamic method of displaying the image so you’ll need to use CSS to override this to enforce a width/height and this must be done via CSS>
