I think I may have made a change that messed up my footer. My footer widgets were all in line horizontally. However, each had text that was aligned to the left so it looked “off.” I went into the style css and thought I changed it to center align. However, after doing that it looks like it may have messed up my footer to where it is now stacked vertically. Can you help me fix this where the widgets have centered text and are in a line horizontally?

Hi Lindsay,
Could you please first remove any change you made to the CSS to try and center the footer text. Then let me know once you have done this.
Cheers!

Ok. I think I removed anything that was added. I hope so at least. The only item I’m not sure about is the list-style: none. I can’t recall if that was there or I added it.
As far as I know I had only changed one item from left to center…however, when I went back in to change it back I’m not sure that I found the same item. I believe I was in the style css editor, looking at footer-widgets. Would there be another location where this type of change could be made?
I went ahead and just changed the footer using layout builder and added widgets that way so they would be horizontal. How do I center align the text in each of those widgets? Example: Woocommerce Cart is center, but the text below is left aligned. Same goes for facebook like and the icon.
Hi Lindsay
I think even with the Layout Builder being used there could be footer CSS changes affecting alignment. Would you like to first try restoring, we’ll then help with any alignment from there.
