Centering the top menu in the page

Hi There
I’m sure this is a very simple one. I’d like to be able to center horizontally the menu details within the solid bar at the top of the home page. Is this possible. Do I need to add some custom CSS and if so where should it go?

Thanks for a great theme. I’m fairly new to wordpress and this has broken me in gently. Thank a lot.

    It is indeed possible with Custom CSS to center the main menu, please check out my answer here:
