Can’t translate website using Pagebuilder

Hi,

I am trying to translate my website and have tried every single plugin there is with no results. I have read in some forums that I should use polylang, but it doesn’t work (I don’t have the custom fields selected). The problem is that when I translate a page from Spanish to English then suddenly both of them are in English and I can’t select the Spanish pages back. I am really stressed with this problem and don’t know what to do. By the way I am using the theme tesseract.

    Hi Iñaki

    Sorry to hear about the hassle.

    I know you mentioned you don’t have Custom Fields selected but I can’t think of any reason you’d be getting that problem in Polylang. Can you confirm:

    SettingsLanguagesSettingsSynchronizationCustom Fields

    Is that field definitely disabled?

    Thank you so much for the responseYes. That is disabled. I dont even use the custom fields.

    Thanks for confirming. Page Builder stores its data in a custom field which is why this needs to disabled.

    Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

    Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.

    Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Alright andrew.

    I have created the user. Thanks so much. I am really looking forward to your answer. Right now the polylang plugin is deactivated because it messes up the homepage just so you know.

    Thanks for the info.

    You’re using Beaver Page Builder so ideally you’d ask them for assistance. I haven’t used Beaver before so I’m not sure if it works with Polylang. I’d certainly help if I could.

    (Our page builder plugin is called Page Builder by SiteOrigin).
