Hi there,
I was working on my website when suddenly the widget preview was not displayed entirely anymore. I can see there is a widget and the text in it but not as it will appear once uploaded. It affects all Siteorigin widgets
The good news is that it doesn’t affect the widget per se. I can still set it up and update the page but I can’t preview it, which forces me to update the page, check online, back to the wp editor to correct some parameters and so on. It is a lot of back and forth.
The problem appeared out of the blue. The only thing I can link to that problem to is that I updated the Siteorigin widget bundle plugin to the Version 1.17.7 earlier.
I am on WordPress 5.5.1 running Cubic theme

So there are two blocks using the siteorigin widgets : tabs and you might guess the second one is accordion (you see + and -).
As you can see, the preview mode is not wysiwyg anymore. It used to appear like one the website (see here below)

I am sorry to report that I updated the plugin (version 1.17.8) but the problem remains: I still can’t preview what it will look like.

Ahh, ok, sorry, I see what happened here. We had an Image Widget issue that was impacting the site front-end in Safari. The issue was urgent enough for us to build a hotfix release where we cherry-pick just that fix and build a release. The preview issue will be resolved in the next Widgets Bundle release which I’m working on at the moment. I wanted to get everything out together but the Safari issue became urgent enough for us to create a hotfix release. I’ll bookmark this thread and send you a beta release as soon as it’s ready.
