Can not remove masthead Image

Hi there,

I´m using the Vantage Theme (free version)for my homepage.

I have the following problems:

1. In Theme-Design/Page I´m want to change the default color; but the changes will not be active.
2. I can not change the standard sliding images in the head (f.e. “integrated with some fine plugins…”), I know they are called “Masthead Images”, but I can´t find the settings to replace it with my own ones.

Can somebody help me?

    If possible, please, let us know the exact setting not taking effect in the Customizer. If you can perhaps share a link to an example page we can inspect the source code to see why the setting isn’t taking effect.
