Can I “archive” a Row & Widget intact for future use

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

Hi there, continuing to familiarize myself with SiteOrigin Page Builder. :)

I have a Row on: ivanrest.3cstudio.com that I want to save (for future consideration) a Row & its Widget for potential future uses — so I did a search for: “can I save a Row or a Widget in Site Origin for later use?” and didn’t find much that fit that question. So, near the bottom of the content area, there is a Widget “Animated Text” that has a title of: Welcoming People Far from God . . . we would like to “hide” that for now with the option to use and customize it further in the future. Is that possible? For instance, in the WordPress > Appearance > Widgets of old, you could simply move the Widget in question to: Inactive Widgets. It would be awesome if SiteOrigin had a similar feature (or if WordPress devs had already created a plugin that would do this in the Customizer…. hmmmm).

Please let me know.
Best,
Steve C.

    Hi Steve

    Thanks for reaching out.

At the moment we don’t have a feature to accomplish this task with Page Builder or the Widgets Bundle. SiteOrigin Premium includes the Toggle Visibility addon which would be helpful in this instance. More on the Toggle Visibility addon here Page: Toggle Visibility.
