Button Widget Not Working

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

Our Button Widget isn’t functioning as it once was. At: www.pdxgreeteam.com/blog you will see that the sidebar doen’t show up at the top right of the page. You have to scroll down through several (now improperly formatted posts) to see it. When I go to the Widgets page in WordPress I see this message under the Blog Sidebar Button tab: “This is a legacy widget. Ideally you should move to using Widgets from the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle instead. It’ll be moved to a separate plugin after Page Builder 2.6 is released. Widgets Bundle”

I downloaded the bundle and don’t know what I need to do next. Am I on to the right fix? If so, can you tell me the best way to upload this bundle to my WordPress page?

    Hi Darcie

Head over to Plugins, is the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle installed and activated? If not, go to PluginsAdd New, search for and install the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle. Once activated, go to PluginsSiteOrigin Widgets to activate the widgets you’d like to use. If you’d like to replace any legacy widgets with newer SiteOrigin widgets you’ll need to delete the legacy widget from the widget area or page and then insert the new widget.

To resolve the pumpkin image title not being underneath the image, edit that post, edit the image and change it from aligned left to align none or align center.
