Hello friends,
I have a one-page site (North theme) with a button in a hero widget. The button links to a row-id, like in my menu (as described in the video). When clicking on the button, the page doesn’t scroll down but go straight to the middle on the page (and not the beginning of the page). The menu works perfectly fine but not the button ?
By the way, I have not find the way to remove the icon of a button (contrary to the image icon which has a remove option after choosing a media).
Thank you for your help!
Hi Frederic,
Hey mate! :)
Regarding the one page scroll – thanks for letting us know about this. That’s technically intentional as the smooth scroll is only applied to the navigation. I’ve however logged a feature request that this the smooth scroll setting be everywhere on the page.
A work around for the moment would be to disable the smooth scroll setting (WP AdminAppearanceCustomize and then Theme SettingsNavigation) and then use a plugin like Page scroll to id. Please note that you’ll need to set an offset if you’re using SiteOrigin Page Builder.
Regarding the button. This is a UX issue that has been marked for improvement in a future version. Basically, to remove an icon simply select the same icon again. I know, it doesn’t make sense but this is one of those hindsight moments – it sounds like a good idea at the time. :(
Hopefully this helps.
Hello Alex,
And thank you very much for your answer.
I’ll look at the plugin you mentioned.
Continue the great job!
