Blog doesn’t work in vantage theme

Hi,
I’ve installed Vantage. Everything works all right.
But the blog page does not work as in the demo page: No picture, no configuration…
I put a title and a row with a link in little html code (that works in ohter pages) but in the blog page it appears no title and no link, just a simple blog page.
I’ve tried all and i’ve read the forum but i can realize the problem.
Thanks a lot

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Climent

    Thanks for reaching out.

Once you’ve assigned your blog (posts) page from SettingsReading, no content will be displayed on the page, just your posts. To ensure that featured images display on your blog page, go to Posts in WordPress, edit one of your posts and ensure that a featured image has been added, the featured image setting is in the right column. To choose your blog layout, go to CustomizeTheme SettingsBlog, more on the available settings in the Vantage documentation Page: Blog.

    Hi Andrew.
    Thank-you for your fast response.
The question is *CustomizeTheme SettingsBlog *as is explained on the documentation doesn't work at all. I can edit blog page with "page builder"
and set a title and a footer and and image layout as in the exemple. But nothing of this appears in my blog page. Just a simple and poor wordpress blog page.
    Why?
I use Vantage theme and page builder. It works fine on all the other pages.
    Any idea?
    Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Climent

    Thanks for your feedback.

Once you’ve assigned a page as the blog page from SettingsReading none of the content added to that page will render. This is the behavior of the WordPress core. To confirm, if you go to Pages and edit the page assigned as your posts page, none of the content from the content area of that page will be rendered. The only job of that page is to display your posts, not to load page content. The layout of that page, assuming you have posts added to WordPress is controlled from CustomizeTheme SettingsBlog.

If you’d like to add static content around the posts feed on your blog page you can deselect your blog page at SettingsReading and instead use a Post Loop widget on your blog page to load posts.

    Right Andrew!
I've been reading forum answers all this time. And there is a post that says exactly that you say.
    And it works!
Thank you very very much for your time.
    Best regards,

    Hi, I Work Here

Super, glad to hear you’re making progress.

In summary, the blog page will provide a list of posts from the Posts section in WordPress. The layout of the Blog page is controlled from Theme SettingsBlog.

In the event you want to add content above or below the feed of posts, deselect your posts page from SettingsReading and instead insert a Post Loop widget into your blog page.

    Cheers for now :)

    Hi,
I have a new question about the blog.
Blog is now correctly working. But (there's always a but)
Why can't I put the associated image of every post look like in the demo?
All the post appear correctly but with no image since you clic on them.
    Here you are the page,

    Hi, I Work Here

Hi Climent, ensure each post has a featured image, you can add featured images in the right column when editing a post.

    Hi,
There's an image in every post attached in the SiteOrigin editor used for the text.
Do i need another one? Or I have to do it in another way?

    Hi, I Work Here

You’ll need to add a Featured Image. If you edit a post, check the right column, there is a specific link to add a Featured Image.
