Black box instead of video

Hi,

I am trying to embed a video link into a webpage and when I do it I get a black box. However, if I choose Edit, it shows me the video working and even though I tell it to embed Embed, it still only shows a black box on the preview and on the website. Any ideas? I can’t really leave it on the website, because it is live and have instead just made a link that takes the person out to another site, that will do as an interim, but I would really like to be able to make this work for future reference.

    Hi,

    I have put the link on a page I haven’t got listed in a menu (so hopefully not many people will navigate there). It’s still not working (the only difference with this placement and the last one I tried, is that this one is in a Page Builder layout and the last one wasn’t, it was just on the page). Both instances are showing the same end result, a black box. Also, in both cases, when I choose the edit button on the black box I can see the video perfectly, but as soon as I close that edit window it goes back to being just a black box.     Don’t worry, I worked it out. It’s not a video as such and it needed to be in a frame.

    Hi Alex,

    I still have a question. The 3D/VR thingy (video, for want of a better description) works fine on a computer, but when I try to look at it on an iPad, it wants to take me to the my.matterport space that it obviously dwells in. It’s not a huge problem, but it would be good to know if it’s something I can fix or change. I completely understand if this is out of your realm of expertise. If so, I can try to find an answer from the my.matterport people.
