I’m having some major issues trying to get a number of widgets into rows and columns the way I want them to display. I get the spacing of one row down, then I add another and the columns don’t line up the and spacing is too much. I tried stacking widgets in one row area and then the widgets start lining up next to eachother in the column. I know I can get this with padding cells and whatnot, but this widget just doesn’t seem to work like it does on a regular page. Is there anything to make this easier?

Based on your description, it sounds like you may be adding multiple layout builders to your footer. Is this the case? If so, this should be avoided and there should only be a single widget in your footer widget area as themes will change the widths of widgets based on the number of widgets in the widget area (not including those in a layout builder).
If this isn’t the case, do you have a public URL where we can take a look at your footer so I can get an idea of where things are going wrong?
