When I put embed the link for a YouTube video into a column (a cell), instead of retaining the size that I originally designated, that space automatically expands.
This crowds the display.
I want to reduce the dimensions of the video so that each only occupies about 1/3 of the width of the page.
The thing is that when I do that in Page Builder, the videos get moved off of the page to the right. In other words, the my dimensions are ignored.
The videos are also too close together vertically.
I tried to put rows in between them to create more space.
That didn’t make any difference either.
How do I stop the YouTube videos from altering the size of the space I’ve allocating for them?
Here’s the page where this happens. http://www.gvzglasshouses.co.uk
Hi Drbruce,
I’d like to help you with this issue. Unfortunately, this is beyond the scope of the support we’re able to offer on our free forums. This is happening due to a lack of theme specific CSS being applied to iframes.
We do offer this level of support to our premium users, so if you’d like to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then I can help you over email support.
If you’d prefer not to upgrade to SiteOrigin Premium, then you can hire a WordPress developer from Codeable. They’ll charge you an hourly rate for any work done.
Hi Alex,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I’ve figured out a different way to solve the problem without using CSS.
Cheers, Bruce
