Youtube Autoplay and player customization

By surreal90, 7 years ago. Last reply by Alex S, 7 years ago.

Hi guys,

I am trying to add a youtube video as a “hero” main intro for a site, what i need to do is:

– Make the video goes in autoplay once page loaded.
– Hide video title/name (it appears on the top left corner).
– Hide the playback bottom buttons (play, pause, etc).
– Hide videos playlist when pause the video.

I tried to:

– add the video ?autoplay=1, but then i got “Sorry, we can’t display the video file type selected. Please select a supported video file (.mp4, .m4v, .webm, .ogv, .flv) or stream (YouTube or Vimeo) instead.” error.

Would appreciate it if someone could help.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Surreal,

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without a fair amount of custom coding. This is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on our forums, but you could hire a developer to implement this for you.

We recommend using Codeable. You’ll be able to hire someone at an hourly rate to do this work for you.
