Hello All!
Page Builder noob here. We’re actually using page builder to implement something from an outside source. We’ve not used Page Bulder before. We’re attempting to import files, a widget and a layout from the outside source.
Steps we’ve taken so far:
1 – Install the Page Builder plugin
2 – Upload the widgets directory (and widget folder inside)
3 – Upload the other needed JS and CSS files
The next step asked us to go to /wp-admin/plugins.php?page=so-widgets-plugins but this is when we receive the “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page” error from WordPress.
In the troubleshooting process, I also imported the layout via the JSON file received which worked nicely but of course we’re getting “Widget not Found.”
Thanks in advance!
Hi Lawrence,
Hm. This sounds like you don’t have the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle installed. Once installed you’ll be able to navigate to WP AdminPluginsSiteOrigin Widgets (which is the menu link to yoursite.com/wp-admin/plugins.php?page=so-widgets-plugins) and enable the widgets required for the layout (which will resolve the Widget Not Found message).
Yep! That’s exactly it. LOL! The instructions we were following neglected to tell us that we required that bundle. :)
Well that’s embarrasing! :)
Thanks Alex!
