9 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 9 years ago

Hi,

I just installed plugin called Yoast SEO and when ever I use the Snippet Editor & add meta description to my post or pages the full width layout don’t work anymore.

Before adding meta description

After adding meta description

How to fix this?

    Hi Speciaali

Thanks for reaching out. If you’re still encountering this problem, please can you tell us which theme you’re using?

    Shapely by Colorlib

Could you perhaps show us a page with Full Width Stretched working? I don’t seem to be able to get Full Width rows working with Shapely at all.

Thanks for the links. I still can’t get full width rows to work with this theme so it’s tough to test

Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.

Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Ok, done.

I send you the login info.

    Thanks.

It looks like you don’t have mail enabled on your server so the email didn’t send with our login details and I can’t reset either. Please, send our details manually using the private reply check box below the form field here on the forum.

    Winning. Thanks.

It seems to be a three-way conflict between the theme, Yoast and Page Builder. It isn’t happening when I test locally with say our Vantage theme, Yoast and Page Builder.

Can I put this site into maintenance mode and do a plugin conflict test?

    Sure

If it works with your Vantage theme, then I might as well use that…

  13. Andrew Misplon Staff 9 years, 6 months ago

It should work with North too, one moment, let me test that.

    Cool, North is fine too:

. I think your theme now has a JavaScript conflict that occurs when Yoast is in use in that one regard (description).

If you haven’t checked out our Prebuilt Layouts yet, go to any page > Page Builder > Layouts > Prebuilt Layouts. North is a bit more minimal than Vantage if that’s what you’re after.

Let us know how it goes :)
