Hi
I have read various support threads on this topic but still can’t get Yoast to see my content on the pages so I therefore get bad Yoast scores.
The following is enabled – Settings / Page Builder / Content / Copy Content
The following is on – Appearance / Home Page / Custom Home Page
I have edited the Yoast SEO snippet and focus keyword on all pages.
In the Analysis section of my homepage for example – I get a Bad SEO score for the following –
The text contains 0 words. This is far below the recommended minimum of 300 words. Add more content that is relevant for the topic.
The focus keyword doesn’t appear in the first paragraph of the copy. Make sure the topic is clear immediately.
I am using Vantage Theme. Site can be found here – www.chickpaper.co.uk
Can you advise how to make Yoast see the content that is within Page Builder please?
Many thanks
Bibs
Hi Blbs,
It sounds like the post content hasn’t been copied over if it’s still reporting 0.
Try making a major layout change (such as adding an RSS widget or a text widget with a lot of placeholder text). Does it show then? If so, remove the changes you just made and the content will be copied over without the extra stuff.
Hi Alex
Thanks for responding. I have just added a row and text widget with NO content. The Yoast score automatically updated as follows –
The text contains 844 words. This is more than or equal to the recommended minimum of 300 words
When I removed the empty widget the score went back to zero.
However when I repeated the process and updated the page and then removed the empty widget the score remained.
So that seemed to work! Thanks very much indeed Alex.

Hi Bibs,
Awesome. The issue was definitely that we didn’t generate the content. Glad you were able to get it to generate, not too sure why it didn’t work the first time though.
