WPJB Shortcodes no longer working properly with pagebuilder

Hi there,

For a while now I’ve developed my website using a combination of pagebuilder & site origin widgets. I also have built my site using a great job board plug-in called WordPress JobBoard (WPJB) which makes use of shortcodes.

I haven’t had any problems so far with it, but it seems there could potentially be a compatibility issue since your recent updates.

The alignment of the ‘Tag_type’ and the ‘date posted’ seems to be a little more spread out than usual. Notice the difference in layout between the job lists in the below link, and the featured jobs list on my homepage (www.rockstaff.com):

https://www.rockstaff.com/geoscience-jobs/geologist-jobs/

The shortcode I’ve used in the above link is:
[wpjb_jobs_list search_bar=”disabled” count=”0″ is_featured=”0″ meta__required_specialism=”structural geology”]

Why might this be happening? I’m looking to develop separate pages for different geoscience disciplines with job board lists on each of them – but this is how I’ve discovered this issue.

I have spoken with the developers of WPJB who think there is now a potential compatibility issue, and suggested I got in touch with you. For your information, they identified that there seems to be a number of unwanted
which is causing all the unwanted extra space in the layout.

I’m also now concerned that if I make any adjustments to www.rockstaff.com, then the shortcode is going to stop working properly on my homepage!

Is there anything that can be done?

Cheers,

Alex

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Alex,

This is happening due to the SiteOrigin Editor widget having the Automatically add Paragraphs setting enabled. To resolve this please open the editor that’s used to add this widget and untick the Automatically add Paragraphs setting, which is below the TinyMCE editor.
