Hi there, first of all thanks for this really awesome theme and I simply loved it.
I’ve recently installed WP SEO by Yoast as recommended by Andrew, which worked well for me EXCEPT for the home page.
The problem is, after configuring the SEO for the home page and updating it, the sidebar appeared on my homepage below the contents on the homepage, and it was not supposed to.
I am only able to resolve it by going back to Appearance > Homepage and updating it again.
The sidebar disappears but the SEO configuration that I have made was gone as well (judging from the snippets on google – title tag and meta description was not what I entered in Yoast SEO).
My site has gone live so I am unable to show you how it looks like with the erroneous sidebar.
Wonder if I can get any help with that to get SEO Yoast working for the homepage as well.
This is my website if you need it www.sallysroom-sg.com.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Jeff
When a sidebar appears – that configuration of your setup, just change the Page Template in the right column drop down menu to Full Width, No Page Title.
Hope that helps.
Hi Andrew,
Worked like a charm! Thanks for your timely assistance as always!
Super; glad to hear that helped!
All the best.
