WP Rocket breaks SiteOrigin: images no longer visible

I have a problem with my website www.brandtkaarsen.nl:

I have been using the Kadence Virtue Theme and the SiteOrigin PageBuilder plugin without any problem, until this moment. When I try to install WP Rocket and enable it, all images that are placed using the SiteOrigin PageBuilder disappear. Images placed directly into a page without the PageBuilder, are still visible. When I check the site source, I can see that the image link is not found. It just says: ‘src (unknown)’.

I have temporary disabled WP Rocket as it completely breaks the site.

Do you have any experience with this issue? Could you help me out?

And please let me know if / when to enable to WP Rocket plugin for you to see the result for yourself.

Kind regards,

Nicholas

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Nicholas,

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?
Do you have Lazy Loading enabled? If so, does this issue occur if you temporarily disable Lazy Load?

    Hi Alex,

You can check out the site at https://brandtkaarsen.nl/en/home/. WP Rocket is now disabled, as it breaks the whole site and I don’t want to leave it online like that. I did however take some screenshots to show how it looked and how the code looks when WP Rocket is enabled. Lazy Loading doesn’t seem to be the problem: the problem is the same with or without Lazy Loading enabled.

    Hi Nicholas,

Thanks for ruling out Lazy Load. We’ll be running some tests against WP Rocket shortly to see if we’re able to replicate and resolve this issue.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Nicholas,

    Very sorry for the delay.

Can you please send me an export of WP Rocket settings? You can do this by navigating to WP AdminSettingsWP Rocket, Tools and export your settings. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as WeTransfer (no email is required).

    Hi Alex,

I’m so terribly sorry. I just found out what the problem was. It appears to be a corrupted part of the .zip file of the WP-Rocket plugin.

Again, so sorry to have put you through all this hassle.

Thank you for your help and patience!

    Kind regards,

    Nicholas
