I have a similar question to the one here: https://siteorigin.com/thread/working-with-fixedparallax-background-photos-on-mobile-and-ipad/, and had a follow-on question as I’m working on a website and facing a similar issue.
Is there a way to display the background as “fixed” for viewing on laptops/desktops, and parallax if the user is viewing on mobile?
If so, what code should we insert, and where? As Joanna said above, the fixed background has a great effect so we’d like to keep it if at all possible

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without some custom coding at this time. I’ve marked this thread as a feature request. We often look through these threads to get ideas for what to add in our future updates. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add this in a future update.
