Wordwrap not working on pages

Hi

The wordwrap is breaking words up in the middle on Vantage Premium. I’ve tried the CSS fix suggested on this forum:

[#sow-headline-container.sow-headline h1 {
word-break: normal !important;
}]

Being unfamiliar with WP coding I am note quite sure if I have edited the CSS correctly. I put it in using Appearance/Custom CSS. I had read that it is not necessary to use a child theme with Vantage Premium and so am using the CSS plugin suggested instead.

Another problem I have is that the ‘creative agency’ prebuilt layout I used for the homepage is no longer working as it should with the text having lost its formatting.

Any help appreciated.

    Hi Cedar7

    Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Hi Andrew
    Thanks for getting in touch. The site hasn't gone public yet as I am building it, so I'm not sure how I can share the URL. Any suggestions?

    We could login and take a look that way. I’ll send instructions for that now. Thanks.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:

    [email protected]

    Just navigate to Users > Add New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the “Send Password” field so we receive the details.

    Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

    Hi, I Work Here

    Before you do that can you try the following at Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* CTA Widget Hotfix */

    #sow-headline-container.sow-headline h1,
    #sow-headline-container.sow-headline h3 {
    	word-break: normal !important;
    }

    There is a problem with the Call to Action widget. We’ll have it resolved in the next update. Thanks.

    Hi Andrew
    I have set you up with an account as you explained.
    I tried your CSS fix but the problem persists in the first siteorigin headline widget on the page ending in: fc4
    I also tried a test of starting another page with the stock template and as you can see it too has broken formatting. I wonder if this is because I have a menu switched on?
    Many thanks for your help.
