WordPress Customizer not loading when on a SiteOrigin Theme

5 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 5 years ago

Hello anyone,

I’m having an issue with a newly put up WordPress website. The WordPress Customizer isn’t loading when I’m on a SiteOrigin theme but when I use a different theme, it works fine.

I’ve tried:

Going to customize from the home page
Going to customize from Appearance in the dashboard
Changing the theme to a non-siteorigin theme then customizing then changing the theme from there
Uninstalling all plugins except for SiteOrigin

Please help as I am getting pretty pissed at this already. I’ve been using SiteOrigin since 2012 and this is the first time I’m encountering this issue.

    Hi Tega

    Thanks for reaching gout.

If the issue persists with only SiteOrigin plugins activated then it’s unlikely to be a plugin conflict. It might be a memory limitation. Please, try installing https://wordpress.org/plugins/server-ip-memory-usage/. Once activated, the plugin will output a line of information in the footer when logged into WordPress. Please, let us know what the PHP memory limits are.
