WordPress 5.0 broke siteorigin pages

I upgraded to wordpress 5.0 and I can no longer edit any siteorigin builder created pages, I just get a base text editor only

I thought it was a problem with the new editor so installed classic editor, same problem. I also cannot create NEW pages with site builder, I have the exact same issue.

I can however create a new Block Editor page and use siteorigin just fine, no problems. Any way I can fix this to edit my existing pages that I made with siteorigin?

I just want to be able to edit my home page

    Hi Jared,

    I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues after updating to WordPress 5.0. We’ve received a number of compatibility updates for SiteOrigin Page Builder and the SIteOrigin Widgets Bundle. Please ensure you’re using the latest version of both plugins.

    If you are, can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

    If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.

    Thank you, not exactly sure what the issue was, I disabled every single plugin and then re-enabled the siteorigin plugins (cleared cache), and it worked. So then I enabled the rest of my plugins and it still worked just fine, so not sure what the issue was but I’m all set, thanks so much for your help!
