The SiteOrigin Page Builder is activated but not showing up next to the Edit Page section next to the Visual & Text editor. It disappeared after I made the update to WordPress 4.5. I followed the instructions to disable all of the other plugins to troubleshoot but it appears Page Builder is the plugin that is the culprit. I have the ThemeTrust Create theme installed that had SiteBuilder bundled.
I really don’t want to have to delete the plugin, reinstall and lose multiple pages of the site I have already created in order to fix this update error. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

Deleting the plugin will leave your data intact as long as you don’t save any page during the reinstallation process you’ll be fine. Please try a full reinstall and if that doesn’t help, would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look? You can create the account with the following email address:
[email protected]
Just navigate to UsersAdd New in your WordPress admin. Enter siteorigin for the username and [email protected] for the email address. Make sure you’ve selected Administrator for the role and enabled the Send Password field so we receive the details.
Once we’re finished taking a look, you can delete this account. We’ll let you know when to do that.

Oh. “Page Builder by SiteOrigin for Create”, we don’t manage specific versions for themes. While I’m sure there’re differences between the versions, it seems their version is out of date by a couple of months at least. We’ve pushed a number of compatibility patches prior to 4.5 that seem to be missing as well as other features that are also missing.
I recommend getting in contact with Choice about this issue, or alternatively switching to the standard version of SiteOrigin Page Builder.
I’ve posted on the ThemeTrust Creat forum and hopefully they respond with a reasonable resolution.

We’ve also contacted Themetrust about this issue.
I can’t really provide any major differences as I didn’t do a very thorough comparison when I initially looked but basically, it looks like the only difference (excluding the obvious version difference) is really only the prebuilt layouts. I didn’t check the widgets though so there might be a couple there too.
