WordPress 4.5.2 Update Broke Circle Icon Widget on home page (Tempera theme)

I had been using WordPress with the Vantage theme for the last 8 months and it was always perfect.

However, today went to make some edits to the home page and the Vantage CircleIcon Widget can no longer be found and there is no content to edit. Here is the message I get (the widget Vantage_CircleIcon_Widget is not available. Please try locate and install the missing plugin. Post on the support forums if you need help.)

At the time the website looked fine so I would have never known there was an issue until trying to make an edit. After messing around I decided to update my plugins and now the home page is set to the default and I have no idea where all my content went.

How do I get this fixed? It would be nice if I could revert back or undo what ever I did so at least the homepage is working while I wait to see if anyone can help with the widget issue. The last thing I wanted to do today was spend hours trying to fix something on this website :(

    Hi Npuffer,

    Would it be possible for you to send me an export for this widget? To do this open up the page with the widget and click layout. Then click import / export and then click download. Please upload the export to a 3rd party file hosting site such as teknik.io.

    It's odd, I can see all my info in Appearance but I think because all the widgets aren't functioning correctly the content isn't showing up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Also, I had made a mistake, the theme I’m using is Tempera not Vantage.

    Hi Npuffer,

    If that’s the case, that’s likely why. The circle icons are bundled with Vantage so if you’re trying to use that widget in another theme it won’t work. Sorry mate. :(

    Hi Npuffer,

    Honestly, I have no idea. Maybe your theme previously copied the widget (which is fine mind you) and bundled it with their theme?

    One more thing. I have been using the plugin all over my site and its still working fine except for the homepage. I will assume that I should remove it right away so there's no more problems? Which means rebuilding the website
    :(

    Maybe. Can I be honest? I can’t actually see the icon on any other page.

    Could you please send me a link to a page where it’s present? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box. Email replies aren’t private.

    I mean on a page where it’s working. You stated it wasn’t working on the homepage.
