WooCommerce update no css?

10 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 10 years ago

woo commerce started behaving oddly (like no products were being found) and I noticed there was an update available. So I did it. Products showed up again.

However, all of my formatting is gone. Like H1 H2 etc… they all display as basic paragraph sizes on my home page. I didnt change anything else. I cannot figure out what happenned. I hadnt made a child theme yet as I hadnt gotten my site ready 100%.

Is there some chance I lost my css? woocommerce pages seem to have different size text, but nothing else. YIKES!

Anyone point me in a right direction?

    Hi WholeLifeWell

    Thanks for the long wait.

Hopefully you’ve made progress. If you edited the Vantage style.css and update Vantage then unfortunately your changes have been overwritten. All WordPress themes overwrite their folder during theme updates. Changes stored at Appearance > Custom CSS are update safe.

In terms of getting back on track, perhaps check out our new Custom CSS editor. It has a visual interface option that should make life a lot easier.

If you can confirm where you made changes to the heading and p tags then we can help explain what happened.
